Chelsea Passmore
Chelsea Passmore graduated from Canterbury High School’s Dance Program with honours in 2006 and attended The School of Dance Contemporary Dance Program from 2010–2012. She completed a 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2008. Chelsea has since performed for PAL Ottawa and visual artist Tami Galili Ellis, participated in the 2013 Canada Dance Festival for Mile Zero Dance and Le Grand Continental by Sylvain Émard and danced in Allison Burns’ The Key to Time Travel for Dark Horse Dance Projects 2017.
Chelsea co-produced Inside Out: a contemporary dance showcase in March 2018 for which she presented a self-choreographed solo called Étoile et Océan. In July 2018 she danced in TAKE UP SPACE + MOONFRUITS and collaborated with Travis Martin on dance theatre piece Lust/Trust//Shame/Game for Fresh Meat Theatre Festival in October 2018. Chelsea self-produced pass more dance in March 2019 for which she choreographed a duet called On Cue between herself and Elizabeth Emond-Stevenson and performed a solo choreographed by Mizuki Hoshino called This woman’s movement. She remounted Étoile et Océan in Allison Burns’ For the Love of Dance: a multi-style dance showcase in May 2019 as well as Allison’s The Key to Time Travel and an extended version of the original piece.
Chelsea has collaborated with TAKE UP SPACE as a performer in TAKE UP SPACE + MOONFRUITS.

Chelsea est productrice du spectacle pass more danse, où elle a présenté son duo On Cue et dansé un solo par Mizuki Hoshino, This woman’s movement. Elle a repris Étoile et Océan en mai 2019 pour For the Love of Dance: a multi-style dance showcase, ainsi que The Key to Time Travel.
