Leah Archambault
Leah Archambault has a Masters degree from York University in Dance and her performance interests and background include dance/theatre, performance art and hardcore vocals. She has performed at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre and at festivals including Long Winter TO, Nuit Blanche and Ffida. Leah is grateful to have had the opportunity to dance for a number of divergent artists over her career including Jasmine Inns, Tilt Sound and Motion, Danny Grossman Dance Company, The Larchaud Project, JDdance, Project Sugar, The Scandelles, Tracey Norman, TAKE UP SPACE, Amelia Griffin and others.
Most recently Leah was a principal dancer/actor in The Ghomeshi Effect. Leah sang hardcore as both the lead singer of U.T.I. and solo vocalist on Toronto’s Burning Compilation (Schizofrenic Records 2009), UTI/Gunnar Hansen Split (Schizofrenic Records 2011) and Galloping/Paper the House 7’’ for Fucked Up (Matador Records 2014). Leah is mom to two awesome kids, Thurston and Aphra.
Leah has collaborated with TAKE UP SPACE as performer in W(WE) and simple epic.

Leah Archambault a obtenu sa maîtrise en danse à York University. Ses intérêts comprennent la danse-théâtre, l’art de la performance et le chant hardcore.
