Hilary James
Hilary James is a dance performer, choreographer, and teacher currently living in her hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Hilary received her Bachelor in Fine Arts, Major in Dance from the University of Calgary in 2017 focusing on contemporary, jazz, and composition. She also spent 2 years studying with the Professional Training Program at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, fostering her love of jazz dance and music. Hilary has since created and performed work in Ignite! Festival of Emerging Artists, Alberta Dance Festival, Skylines Dance & Film Festival, and most recently the Winnipeg Fringe Festival where she premiered her full length dance theatre trio Pull Yourself Together.
Hilary has collaborated with TAKE UP SPACE as a performer in where the wings grow.

Hilary James est interprète, chorégraphe et enseignante à Winnipeg, Manitoba. Hilary a reçu son Baccalauréat des beaux arts- spécialisation en danse de l’Université de Calgary en 2017, avec un accent sur le contemporain, le jazz et la composition. Elle a aussi passé 2 ans dans le Professional Training Program à Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, passionnée par la danse et la musique jazz. Depuis, Hilary à créé et interprété du travail à Ignite! Festival of Emerging Artists, Annual Alberta Dance Festival, Skylines Dance & Film Festival, et le festival Fringe de Winnipeg, dans lequel elle a débuté sa pièce Pull Yourself Together.
